BCLP is proud to have once again achieved Mansfield Certification Plus for 2024–2025 for both our UK and US offices, reflecting our steadfast commitment to fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity in the legal profession. We are proud to share that BCLP has achieved the certification every year since our involvement as a founding signatory in the US eight years ago, and this year marks our third year of recognition in the UK.

Named after Arabella Mansfield, the first woman admitted to the practice of law in the United States, the Mansfield Rule was established in 2017 to increase the representation of diverse lawyers in leadership roles. Today, it stands as one of the industry’s most respected benchmarks for inclusion and diversity, with over 275 participating firms across the US, UK, and Canada this year.

“Our continued recognition through Mansfield Certification Plus reflects the intentional steps we’ve taken to build a more inclusive and transparent firm,” said Karen Mitchell, Global Chief People Officer. “From clearly defined leadership pathways to showcasing diverse talent and engaging in cross-firm collaboration, Mansfield has helped us stay focused on what matters—ensuring all our people have the opportunity to thrive. We’re proud to renew our commitment and remain part of a community working toward lasting change in the legal industry.”
