BCLP Expands Real Estate Practice with Strategic Addition in New York
Oct 01, 2025International law firm BCLP today announced that George Evans has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate Practice, based in New York.
George is a seasoned commercial real estate attorney who represents owners, operators, developers, investors, borrowers and lenders in complex transactions. His practice spans joint ventures, preferred equity, private equity investments and secured borrowing through mortgage and mezzanine loans. George also brings deep experience in “dirt” real estate matters, including acquisitions, ground-up development, commercial condominiums, ground leases and site development agreements.

George’s previous experience includes working to assist clients with structuring and capitalizing their real estate projects and ventures, whether through construction loans, joint ventures, preferred equity or other private equity investments, and through secured borrowing via mortgage or mezzanine loans. His practice is not only in the New York area, but spans the continental US, responding to client demands. Beyond the New York area, Goerge has also led deals in Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Colorado and California.
