BCLP Senior Associate Andrew Street has been appointed to the Judicial Panel of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) for a three-year term. The LTA is the governing body of tennis in the Great Britain, and is responsible for tournaments such as the Queen’s Club Championship. The Judicial Panel is chaired by Sir Gary Hickinbottom, a former Judge of the Court of Appeal.

Members of the Judicial Panel are appointed to form individual independent tribunals to hear cases under the LTA Disciplinary Code. Andrew has been appointed to the Disciplinary Division, Safeguarding Division and Registration Appeals Division.

At BCLP, Andrew advises clients on a wide array of corporate and commercial disputes and acts on both domestic and cross-jurisdictional cases. He also advises in matters involving reputation management, including actions for defamation, breach of confidence/privacy, and protection of data – at both pre- and post-publication stages. Andrew has particular experience advising public figures, financial institutions and clients in the real estate funds and sport sectors. In the sports sector, Andrew is a recognized practitioner with experience in numerous financial, regulatory, contentious, disciplinary and advisory matters.
