September 30, 2022 marks the deadline for reporting energy consumption data online for tertiary buildings over 1,000 m2. Partner Pierre Popesco and Counsel Peter Schäfer, both from BCLP's Paris office, have provided legal insight in an article in Le Moniteur.

Among the consequences of the “décret tertiaire”, there is the obligation, in the event of non-compliance with environmental objectives, to "establish a corrective action programme and a provisional schedule for reducing final energy consumption", they stress for example.
