BCLP Marks International Day of Charity with First Global Charity Week
Sep 08, 2026BCLP will celebrate International Day of Charity with its first global Charity Week, taking place from September 7 to 11, 2026. Delivered through the firm's Responsible Business program, the initiative will bring together colleagues across all BCLP offices to support local charities and community organizations through volunteering, fundraising and awareness raising activities.
The week reflects BCLP's commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where its people live and work. While offices will be united by a shared global theme, each location will partner with a local nonprofit and organize activities tailored to the needs of its community. This year’s theme is food insecurity, an issue that affects communities across every region where BCLP operates. Through partnerships with local organizations, colleagues, and clients will support efforts to improve access to food and assistance for those facing hardship.
Steve Baumer, Chief Executive Officer of BCLP, said:
"Our first Global Charity Week reflects the strength of our culture and our commitment to the communities we serve. Throughout the week, colleagues across our offices will be supporting local charities through hands-on activities such as preparing food packages, assembling snack packs and kindness kits, making meals, and volunteering with food banks and community organisations. By coming together to help address food insecurity, we have an opportunity to support local organisations, strengthen community connections and make a meaningful impact."
