BCLP Paris Compliance Team Wins Silver Trophy at ‘Trophées du Droit 2020’

BCLP’s Paris Compliance Team has been named one of the top honorees at Leaders League’s 20th annual Law Summit. The team took home the Silver Trophy in the compliance category at the Trophées du Droit award ceremony, which brought together more than 1,400 legal professionals on Jan. 30 from throughout the French legal community. 

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s Paris Compliance team – composed of Constantin Achillas, Joseph Smallhoover, Cécile Terret, David Père, Sarah Delon-Bouquet, Mathieu Taupin, Stanislas Boyer, François-Xavier Mirza, Perrine Ader and Ariane Dulcire – is highly ranked in the Paris marketplace and internationally. Its activity covers the conduct of internal investigations and audits, the implementation of compliance programs, the development of anti-corruption policies and procedures relating to the FCPA, the UKBA and the Sapin II law, advice to companies and executives on criminal matters, sanctions, training, advice on internal fraud, compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

The team was selected in 2018 by the AFA (French Anti-Corruption Agency) with a partner audit firm to conduct monitoring missions. The Paris Compliance Team also works closely with lawyers in BCLP’s White Collar Defense & Investigation Group, resident in the major anti-corruption regulatory hubs in the United States and United Kingdom.
