BCLP Paris Lawyers author an article in ‘ActuEL Direction Juridique’
Aug 02, 2022BCLP Partner Frederic Jungels and Counsel Virginie Brault-Scaillet authored an article published July 29 in ActuEL Direction Juridique on the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament reaching a provisional agreement on the Directive on a better gender balance among board members of listed companies. They consider the question of whether parity in management bodies is binding regulation essential to achieving this objective. "It is undeniable that the most concrete progress in terms of gender diversity on the boards of directors of large companies has been made in countries which have legally imposed quotas, such as France," they wrote.
