BCLP recognized as significant player for impact on India-related mandates
Aug 05, 2026BCLP was listed as a “Significant Player” in India Business Law Journal’s (IBLJ) “Top Foreign Law Firms 2026” list. Now in its 20th year, IBLJ’s flagship survey identifies the international firms that stand out for their experience and impact on India-related mandates, by conducting research into the work of more than 600 law firms from across the globe that have handled India-related transactions or disputes in the past year.
The firm’s India practice, led by Partner Shivani Sanghi, was noted for advising Tech Mahindra on its acquisition of Finastra’s Fusion Cash Management platform software. It was also recognized for representing OGD Services, part of the Essar Group, in a high‑profile appeal before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council for the recoverability of third‑party litigation funding costs and the enforceability of litigation funding agreements following the UK Supreme Court’s landmark decision in the PACCAR case.
“We are thrilled to be noted year on year for our work on India-related mandates in India Business Law Journal’s “Top Foreign Law Firms 2026” list,” said Shivani Sanghi. “This recognition underlines BCLP’s long term growth and investment in its India offering and its commitment to supporting new and existing Indian clients on high stakes, cross-border matters, as well as our international clients looking to invest in the country.”
