BCLP recognized for top deals at 2023 M&A Atlas Awards

Two transactions completed by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) were named top deals of the year at the 2023 M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by the Global M&A Network.

The M&A Atlas Awards annually recognize the best value-creating deals, outstanding firms and leaders and dealmakers from the corporate, investor and transactional communities. The 14^thAnnual Gala Dinner and awards ceremony was held Jan. 19 in New York.

Neenah, Inc.’s, $3 billion merger of equals with Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc., was named Americas Corporate M&A Deal of the Year (large). The BCLP deal team was led by Partners Terry Childers, Rick Miller and Eliot Robinson (Corporate Transactions), Frank Crisafi (Tax) and Rob Lewinson (Commercial Lending).

Stifel Financial Corp.’s acquisition of Vining Sparks was named Americas Financial Services Deal of the Year. A multidisciplinary BCLP transaction team led by St. Louis Managing Partner Ryan Davis advised Stifel on the acquisition.
