BCLP secured victory for Springfield, Inc. in Firearm Discharge Lawsuit

A Virginia state court granted BCLP’s renewed motion to dismiss all claims against Springfield—with prejudice.

The case stemmed from a personal injury lawsuit filed by Jason Allen, who sustained a gunshot wound to his leg while attempting to holster a firearm manufactured by our client, Springfield. Despite the allegations, a pre-suit inspection revealed that the weapon functioned properly, and there were no plausible allegations to support the plaintiff’s claim of product failure.
