BCLP is a sponsor and has key involvement in the 2021 Ag Outlook Forum, to be held Sept. 20 in Kansas City, Missouri. The firm is a longtime supporter of the presenting group, the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City.
The 2021 forum is considered a “must attend” industry event. Notable speakers will include Secretary Tom Vilsack of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, USDA’s chief economist, U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran and economists from organizations such as the American Soybean Association. Panels will focus on the agribusiness economy and new markets, with speakers exploring trending topics such as commodity prices, drought conditions, crop yields and impacts of the Biden administration.
Kansas City Partner Bob Thompson, former chairman, and current member of the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City Board of Directors, will represent BCLP at the event, alongside BCLP Partner Powell Carman, co-leader of BCLP’s Food & Agribusiness Sector.
