BCLP's London office will be hosting a round table discussion on behalf of the Adjudication Society Committee on June 17, 2025 between 17:00 and 18:30, which will focus on the subject of whether 'The Adjudication Process is Unfair to Employers, Main Contractors or Subcontractors, or does it just feel that way?'

The fairness of the adjudication process has been an issue since statutory adjudication was first introduced in 1996. The event will feature a structured debate with a panel of industry professionals who will share their experience and what could be done to address any perceived unfairness. The Panel will include BCLP Construction Disputes Partner, Shy Jackson, Nigel Davies (Davies & Davies Associates), Abdul-Lateef Jinadu (Keating Chambers), Jeniffer Jones KC (Atkin Chambers) and Rashda Rana SC, whilst being moderated by Nick Baster (Logic PM Limited) and Suryen C. Nullatamby (Birkett Long).

The Adjudication Society is a not-for-profit Society focused on promoting resolution of construction disputes by means of adjudication and to provide a regular and informal forum at which adjudication problems and practices may be discussed, for the benefit of the construction industry.

The debate will be followed by a drinks reception, attendance is open to Adjudication Society's Members who can register here.
