BCLP welcomes new partner to London Corporate Team

International law firm BCLP announced today that it will expand its UK Corporate & Finance Transactions Department with the addition of Partner Sean Scanlon.   

Sean’s practice focuses on corporate law, assisting clients with transactional matters including national and international M&A, joint ventures, reorganizations and fundraising. Within the real estate investment sector, he has advised on the acquisition and disposal of care homes, retail properties, self-storage facilities, hotels, restaurants, holiday parks and office facilities across the UK and Europe. He also has extensive experience across other business sectors, including for-profit education and insurance. Sean has acted for a broad range of clients such as corporations, founders, management teams, family offices, private equity houses, asset managers and institutional investors.

Before joining BCLP, Sean was a partner at Arnold & Porter.

This announcement follows the strategic London hires of Partners Lerika Le Grange and Simon Letherman, who also joined BCLP’s Corporate & Finance Transactions Department in May. Sean’s arrival marks another significant step in strengthening BCLP’s corporate transactions practice in London and enhancing the firm’s global capabilities.
