International law firm BCLP has announced that Jinal Shah will join the firm’s Corporate & Financial Transactions Team as a partner. A well-respected corporate lawyer, Jinal will join from Orrick.

Jinal has broad corporate transactional experience and has worked across a wide range of sectors. He advises private and public companies, financial institutions and private equity funds on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and strategic investments and helps global businesses assess complex multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.

Particular areas of focus for Shah include the infrastructure and TMT sectors, with an emphasis on cross border and domestic M&A. He regularly acts for clients buying and selling operating infrastructure businesses.

European Regional Leader Simon Beddow commented: “We are delighted that Jinal is joining us. His experience and market connections will help us to build on our existing M&A practice and infrastructure sector experience aligning well with both our department and firmwide strategy.”

Jinal said of his arrival at BCLP: “I’m thrilled to be joining BCLP’s highly regarded corporate & finance team, and look forward to collaborating with colleagues throughout the firm.”
