Summary

BCLP has supported RGreen Invest, an investment management company with over €1.4 billion in assets under management, specializing in the energy and climate transition investment market, in its acquisition of a stake in Electra Group.

RGreen Invest, through its Infragreen IV fund, is investing in Electra, a specialist in fast charging of electric vehicles. The investment should lead to a saving of 550,000 tons of CO2 by 2026.

This investment was made as part of a €160 million fundraising, alongside major investors: Eurazeo, RIVE Private Investment, Serena, the Chopard Group, SNCF via 574 Invest and RATP Groupe. This fund raising will allow Electra to meet its development objectives, namely the acceleration of its territorial coverage in France and the development of its fast charging solutions in Europe.

RGreen Invest was able to rely on the advice of BCLP's dedicated teams to finalize this transaction.

BCLP's team was led by Jean-Pierre Delvigne, partner, assisted by Kai Völpel, Of Counsel, and Paul Ast, lawyer, on corporate M&A aspects, Olivier Mesmin, partner, and Thomas Poiret, lawyer, on tax aspects and  Marion Brière Ségala, partner, on employment law aspects.

Electra Group was advised by Linklaters.

Eurazeo was advised by Allen & Overy.
