Duncan in Law.com Feature for OMP Role in Charlotte

Charlotte Partner Angelia Duncan was featured April 26 by Law.com in the “How I Made It” series for having recently been named office managing partner. When asked what the biggest surprise has been since taking on the role, she said: “Two aspects (i) learning more about the complexities and administrative challenges associated with running a business, as opposed to simply practicing and developing a book of business; and (ii) how welcoming my colleagues have been to my ideas and style of leadership.” Duncan also noted that BCLP values relationship building, with clients but also across the firm itself. “Stay connected to everyone at the firm,” she advised those who might similarly look to assume leadership roles. “Pay attention to and elevate the concerns of not only the partnership but of associates, business services and administrative staff.”
