Geoff Pipoly, a partner in BCLP's Appellate and Supreme Court Group, was published by Law.com in its AmLaw Litigation Daily. In the article, Geoff chronicles his work surrounding Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 350,000 Haitians over the last two years, talking through efforts from the 2024 presidential debate to July 2026.

"Arguing on behalf of Fritz Miot and his fellow Haitian TPS holders has been the honor of my legal career," Geoff writes. "It’s work I took up because for me—my Hungarian grandparents persevered to create an immigrant success story for our family—standing up for immigrants is an act of patriotism."

Geoff highlighted BCLP colleagues who assisted on the matter, including Andy Tauber, Katelyn Harrell, Brooke Ingoglia, Alexa Thein, Madisen Hursey, J.C. Andre and Matt Stanford

"The day of the Supreme Court ruling, Andy, ever the wise one, sent me an email," Geoff writes. "Now, as our clients face an uncertain future, I reflect on his message: 'When people look back on this era, they will know that—whether ultimately successful or not—people resisted, rising to defend humanitarianism and the rule of law. We were on the right side and fought the good fight.'"
