Partner Geoff Pipoly was quoted in The New York Times and Law360 on the victory in Judge Ana Reyes' decision to pause the termination of protected immigration status for hundreds of thousands of Haitians in the United States.

Geoff told The New York Times that the ruling in February would allow Haitian TPS holders to “breathe a sigh of relief, even if only a small one” and he told Law360 that the move was the first step in a longer process.

He also told The New York Times that BCLP looks forward to defending the court’s ruling on appeal.
