Goli Mahdavi, head of our global AI practice, spoke with the New York Times about New York becoming the first state to enact a law to prevent businesses from setting AI-driven online prices based on a customer’s personal data. The law will aim to prevent retailers from abusing customer data to change online prices depending on the customer’s spending habits.
