BCLP advises pool of lenders on performance centre financing
Feb 03, 2026BCLP advised a pool of banks including arangers and lenders Crédit Agricole Pyrénées Gascogne and Arkéa Banque Entreprises et Institutionnelsas well as lender BNP Paribas on the financing of the construction of the “HonhaCamp – TotalEnergies”, the new sports training center for Section Paloise Rugby Pro.
The new facility will cover more than 3,000-sq-m (approx. 32,300-sq-ft) across two levels, featuring state-of-the-art amenities dedicated to performance and well-being such as a weight training room, physiotherapy area, locker rooms, hydrotherapy spaces, players’ lounge, and a restaurant open to the public. The upper floor will host staff and Academy workspaces, a medical unit, meeting rooms, and relaxation areas.
Outdoor facilities will include a 5,000-sq-m (c. 53,800-sq-ft) covered synthetic half-pitch and a reinforced natural grass training field. The center will be available to Section Paloise starting September 2026.
The project represents a €11 million investment , including a €1 million grant from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and is secured through a 50-year emphyteutic lease with the Pau Béarn Pyrénées Urban Community.
BCLP notably assisted the lenders in the negotiations with the Pau Béarn Pyrénées Urban Community.
