Hunter in Bloomberg Law on EEOC Pilot Program
Mar 16, 2020St. Louis Partner Jerry Hunter was quoted March 11 by Bloomberg Law News concerning the new 90-day pilot program underway at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in which commissioners will review amicus briefs in discrimination lawsuits brought by workers. Hunter, a former senior EEOC trial attorney from 1979-1981, said the commissioners have a right to be involved with the review and approval of briefs. He also said the procedures are in line with the process he followed as general counsel at the National Labor Relations Board from 1989-1993.
