St. Louis Senior Counsel Jerry M. Hunter was quoted Jan. 25 by Law360 concerning President Biden’s appointment of National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Chicago Regional Director Peter Sung Ohr as acting general counsel following Peter Robb’s firing last week. Hunter said Biden illegally cut short Robb’s term. “The White House cannot cure an improper termination by simply appointing an individual to fill the position who otherwise would not qualify for the position,” said Hunter, who is a former NLRB general counsel, having served during the administration of former President George H.W. Bush.
