JD Supra 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards

BCLP Partner Tom Lee has been recognized as a Top Author in the JD Supra 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards, in the category of environmental law. The annual awards highlight individual lawyers and firms for their visibility and engagement in 28 key, cross-industry areas of thought leadership, and Tom was selected as one of the top 10 environmental authors out of over 2,500 authors considered.

The Readers’ Choice Awards reflect a deep dive into JD Supra’s reader data for the past year. JD Supra editors chose the main topics covered in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards for their timeliness as well as their proven, ongoing importance. In each category, 10 authors and one firm are recognized for consistently highest readership and engagement within that category for all of 2021.

Tom is a member of the firm’s Energy, Environment & Infrastructure Practice Group. He regularly works with clients in a variety of industries, including real estate investment and development, food and agriculture, retail and consumer products, and chemical manufacturing and distribution. Tom’s practice focuses on three main areas: transactional work, compliance counseling and enforcement defense. 

Tom is the founder and editor of BCLP’s Emerging Contaminants/Emerging Solutions blog, alongside Attorney John Kindschuh. Tom writes regularly on a variety of topics including California’s Proposition 65 and the developing regulation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). He also presents at conferences and in webinars on these and other topics and is the leader of BCLP’s PFAS and Proposition 65 teams.
