"Pre-2011 solar rates: lawyers on the battlefield", interview with Jean-Pierre Delvigne, partner in public and environmental law, experienced in the renewable energy sector, by @Greenunivers.

The government has submitted for public consultation two draft texts related to the review of certain contracts for the production of electricity from photovoltaic sources. This confirms the government’s intention to reduce public support granted to large solar energy producers between 2006 and 2010 through feed-in tariff decrees that, according to the government, led to excessive remuneration. In this interview, Jean-Pierre Delvigne discusses the possible consequences of this reform on administrative and criminal matters. In particular, he mentions the possibility of the State being held liable "on the grounds that the law authoritatively modifies a feed-in tariff guaranteed for 20 years".
