Managing Partner Interviewed by Diversitas as Part of UK Black History Month

London Managing Partner Segun Osuntokun took part in an interview with Diversitas Search, a diversity and inclusion-focused HR consultancy, as part of their Black History Month feature. Black History Month falls in October in the UK. The lengthy and wide-ranging interview covered a number of topics, both professional and personal. When asked what Black History Month means to him and why it’s important, he answered in part that “people might say ‘oh why should we have black history month, why celebrate only black history and not during the rest of the year?’ And my answer to that is well of course you celebrate it every month of the year. But you have a month that we mark out because it's important to do this in a dominant culture which has underrated and under celebrated black history, to make a statement that it is important and our history matters too.”
