Associate Lydia Octon-Burke authored an article published May 11 by HR Magazine on how the current COVID-19 pandemic has shifted expectations as to what can be achieved when working from home. While certain jobs simply cannot be accomplished outside of the workplace – particularly those in the hospitality or retail sector – some in the UK are questioning whether a legal right to work from home should be implemented. “The coronavirus pandemic has led to a seismic shift in working patterns and behaviours. What is currently called the ‘new normal’ is likely to create some long-lasting changes to the way in which businesses operate globally.”
