New Partner Strengthens BCLP Finance Transactions Practice

International law firm BCLP today announced the addition of new Partner Bob Stupar to the firm’s global Finance Transactions Practice. Bob joins in the Atlanta office from Kilpatrick Townsend, where he was a partner.

Bob concentrates his practice on origination and servicing of commercial real estate conduit and balance-sheet loans secured by apartment buildings, shopping centers, strip malls, hotels, warehouses, residential developments, office buildings and other types of commercial real estate. Clients include banks, master servicers, special servicers, CLO issuers, CMBS trusts, insurance companies and other CRE lenders. The scope of services provided includes commercial real estate loan originations, restructurings/modifications, assumptions, CMBS and CLO servicing and securitization compliance, SASB loan servicing, co-lender, loan participant and intercreditor issues, property leasing and management, workouts of non-performing commercial real estate loans, exercise of secured creditor remedies (foreclosures, receiverships, discounted loan payoffs, loan sales, forbearances, and borrower/guarantor litigation) and REO dispositions.

Bob is a frequent speaker at local and national legal and finance industry events. He is a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and a member of the Serbian Bar Association of America. He speaks Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian, as well as French.
