Ocado Group and Groupe Casino complete agreements to extend partnership
Jul 01, 2022International law firm BCLP has advised Ocado Group (Ocado) on the extension of its partnership with Groupe Casino, which includes:
- The creation of a Joint Venture (JV) to provide logistics services to OSP-powered Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) in France, which will be available to all grocery retailers.
- A partnership for Ocado Group to integrate the marketplace platform of Octopia, a Groupe Casino company, into OSP (Ocado Smart Platform), and allow OSP partners around the world to launch their own marketplace offerings.
Ocado is the UK-based technology company providing end-to-end online grocery fulfilment solutions to some of the world’s largest grocery retailers. Groupe Casino is the owner of French supermarkets such as Casino and Monoprix operating across all food and non-food formats both in France and internationally.
