BCLP’s Senior Policy Advisor and Team Leader of Public Policy & Government Affairs, Jack Oliver, has been appointed as one of four new advisors to OpenAI’s newly formed nonprofit commission. The commission is focused on informing and expanding the organization’s philanthropic efforts in key areas such as health, education, scientific discovery, and public service.

Jack’s appointment underscores the depth and breadth of experience within BCLP’s AI Service Line, led by Goli Mahdavi and Erik Kahn.   BCLP’s AI practice brings together lawyers across jurisdictions and disciplines to proactively monitor, interpret, and respond to evolving global regulatory developments— balancing innovation with legal risk, and delivering pragmatic advice that keeps clients at the forefront of technological change.
