Partner Daisy Reeves Joins Stellar Cast at Global ‘SHE’ Conference 2021
Mar 03, 2021BCLP Partner and Global LGBTQ* Group Co-Chair Daisy Reeves is speaking at the SHE Conference 2021, a global gender conference covering topics across diversity in the workplace, media, arts and sports.
Reeves will focus on the intersection between gender, LGBTQ* and mental health. Other pre-eminent speakers include former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada; Erna Soldberg, the prime minister of Norway; Katrin Jakobsdottir, the prime minister of Iceland; London Mayor Sadiq Khan; and President of the World Economic Forum Børge Brende. Overall, the event will feature speakers representing 100 countries and will take place from March 5-19.
Reeves was recently ranked as the most senior lesbian lawyer, globally, in the recognized “OUTstanding” Top 100 LGBT+ Executives Role Model List, ranking 15th overall, cross-sector, for her efforts in promoting LGBTQ* inclusion in the global workplace.
Reeves also maintains an active practice at BCLP, co-leading the firm’s Banking Sector Group across all 30 BCLP offices. She advises both banks and borrowers in domestic and international finance transactions including syndicated and bilateral lending, property and development finance, structured finance, and corporate acquisitions and restructurings.
Alongside her work promoting equality, within the firm, Reeves sits on the Global Inclusion & Diversity Action Board. She has developed thought leadership around the importance of psychological safety and inclusive leadership within the corporate workplace during this time of COVID, and has engaged with a broad range of global organizations to increase awareness in this area and across the wider inclusion landscape.
