The ECN+ (European Competition Network) directive has just been transposed into French law. In an interview published June 14 in ActuEL Direction Juridique, BCLP Partner Julie Catala Marty analyses the main features of the transposition of this directive, which aims at harmonizing the laws applicable in EU states. This reform substantially modifies the procedures in competition law and strengthens the role of national competition authorities. There is no doubt that the application of these new rules will give rise to many questions and debates in future proceedings, Catala Marty says.
