Partner quoted in ‘Corporate Counsel’ on location data restrictions
Jul 28, 2023Partner and US Data Privacy & Security Lead Christian Auty was quoted July 27 by Law.com’s Corporate Counsel on states increasingly placing restrictions on how companies can use data containing precise geographic locations of customers. For organizations that may be collecting and using precise geolocation data, “the first thing you need to do is find it. Then you say, ‘What are the rules here?’” said Christian.
