Wedel Recognized as 2020 Unsung Legal Hero by ‘Missouri Lawyers Weekly’

BCLP St. Louis Facilities Manager Bonnie Wedel has been selected as a 2020 Unsung Legal Hero, as part of the Missouri Lawyers Weekly annual awards.

“Unsung Legal Heroes honors the law firm employees who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes. This award is reserved for the state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals,” Missouri Lawyers Weekly stated.

Wedel joined the firm in 1975 in an administrative assistant role to the office manager. Today, she serves as facilities manager.

Outside of her extensive and varied work duties, Wedel is involved in numerous community service projects. She has organized employee fundraisers to help cancer victims and those recovering from accidents and other ailments. For MLK Day, Wedel helps to spearhead the office’s annual Day of Service projects, often pairing attorneys, staff and family members with the office’s adopted school, Segal Elementary, for beautification projects. Additionally, she has served on the board of Operation Food Search and was the driver of the firm’s now long-standing and continued relationship with the organization.
