Biography
Alexa focuses her practice on complex business and commercial litigation, assisting with issue development and appellate preservation in matters at all stages of litigation. In that role, Alexa supports pretrial, trial, and post‑trial efforts, including research and briefing on dispositive motions, expert-related issues, evidentiary disputes, post‑trial motions, jury instructions, and verdict forms.
Alexa joined the firm as a BCLP Fellow. In that role, Alexa also worked with Legal Aid Chicago’s Public Benefits Practice Group, where she assisted underserved residents of the Chicagoland area in securing and maintaining federal and state public benefits
During law school, Alexa competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and served as a staff editor of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review. She also participated in the Civil Rights and Mediation Clinic. Prior to joining the firm, Alexa held internships with The MICA Project and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
