Alex L. Liebetrau is an associate in the Real Estate Department of the firm’s Kansas City office. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate matters, representing clients in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development and leasing across a variety of asset classes including office, retail, hospitality and mixed use. Alex works regularly with landlords and tenants on leasing projects and has experience in negotiating office lease agreements on behalf of landlords and tenants. Such negotiation often includes negotiations related to construction of alterations to leased properties.

Alex earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan, where she held the role of Executive Editor for the Michigan Journal of Environmental & Administrative Law. Prior to attending law school, Alex earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
