Amneet Mand is an experienced litigator with significant experience in mass torts litigation, complex commercial and civil litigation as well as criminal trial and appellate strategy. Amneet has represented manufacturers, designers and retailers of household appliances and medical devices in high stakes multi-district litigations involving personal injury, wrongful death and property damage.

Amneet defends cases with allegations of strict products liability, negligence, breach of contract, common law and indemnification issues, breach of warranty, failure to warn, and food contamination. All cases involve complex engineering, scientific, and medical issues.

In the construction practice area, Amneet has handled alternative dispute resolutions on behalf of architects and engineers in multi-million-dollar lawsuits involving claims of structural integrity defects, design issues, construction delays and disputes between owners, contractors, architects and engineers. She has also represented every major hospital in New York in complex medical malpractice lawsuits, achieving numerous summary judgment wins and advising clients on appellate strategy.

Amneet has a strong background in public service. She began her career as a public defender for the 15^thJudicial Circuit, defending young individuals facing criminal charges who could not afford an attorney. She continues to protect vulnerable youth in her community. As a Court Appointed Child Advocate (“CASA”), Amneet advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected foster children in Hudson County Family Court as a volunteer.
