Biography
Amy is an associate in the Finance Transactions group. She has experience advising on a range of transactions including leveraged and acquisition finance, structured finance, climate finance, margin lending and distressed debt and restructuring. Amy has acted for a range of borrowers, financial institutions, private equity and investment funds and agents in cross-border, multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Prior to joining BCLP, Amy was a lawyer in the leveraged finance team of a US-headquartered global law firm, before joining the banking and finance team at an international law firm as a multi-specialist. Her pro bono experience includes research for the Public International Law & Policy Group, primary school literacy support and work with the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants in respect of claims under the Windrush Compensation Scheme.
Amy read law at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge and subsequently received a MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law.
