Biography

Ania is a Partner within BCLP’s International Arbitration team in London. She advises states and corporate clients on complex international disputes and matters of public international law. Her practice focuses on high-stakes cross-border disputes, including commercial and investment treaty arbitrations.

She is experienced in proceedings conducted under a wide range of arbitral rules and frequently works on matters involving multijurisdictional issues. In addition to her counsel work, Ania also sits as an arbitrator and is a member of Arbitra, an international organisation of leading independent arbitrators and mediators.

Ania brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice, including valuable insight into third-party funding and the strategic considerations it can involve for clients pursuing claims.

She is widely recognised in the arbitration field and has been named a Thought Leader in arbitration by Who’s Who Legal. Ania also plays an active role in the international arbitration community, currently serving as Chair of the ICC UK Committee on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Ania is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales with Higher Rights of Audience. She studied law at the University of Cambridge and completed her Legal Practice Course with distinction. She is fluent in French and Polish.
