Biography

CaroLea Casas is a highly capable litigator with experience in a variety of mass tort, product liability, commercial dispute, and business litigation matters. She built her practice with an emphasis on complex (and frequently multi-party) disputes. She thrives on tough litigation challenges, offers practical advice, and strives to provide thorough, persuasive, and well-articulated legal argument.

CaroLea works with clients through every stage of high-stakes litigation—from the initial pleadings through depositions and discovery, motion practice, and trial. She approaches each new case with an eye toward overall strategy, and works hard to understand her clients’ businesses, products, and industries. CaroLea’s ability to contextualize a client’s legal issues within that client’s broader environment helps her craft creative solutions and offer sound advice.

CaroLea has experience taking multiple complex actions through trial and arbitration. She has even assisted clients through adversary proceedings connected to bankruptcy matters. CaroLea has always excelled in oral advocacy. She was selected as a member of the Order of Barristers in 2018, and has been featured on a list of “Rising Star” Washington litigators. Both her background in the service industry and her long-time volunteer work with local non-profits like Legal Voice and the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington have taught her the value of strong communication and cooperative problem-solving. She has a genuine passion for team-building and individual connection, which she demonstrates with clients and colleagues alike.
