Chris Girouard is a member of the Tax Advice and Controversy Group, the Tax Exempt and Charitable Planning Group, as well as the Nonprofit Organizations Group. Mr. Girouard’s transactional practice focuses on representing public and private companies in taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and restructurings, and analysis of domestic and international tax issues associated with such transactions. In addition, Mr. Girouard assists nonprofit organizations with formation under state corporate law and qualification for tax exempt status under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.

During law school, Mr. Girouard served as President of the Moot Court Board, and he received the Justin Miller Award for Leadership at graduation.
