Constantin Alfes is a member of our Real Estate Group and our Real Estate Finance Team, where he advises European and U.S. clients on real estate finance transactions and restructurings.

He helps clients successfully execute complex German and multi-jurisdictional real estate deals across a variety of regulatory environments. He has particular experience in pfandbrief (mortgage bond) requirements and regularly advises on loan sales, debt restructurings and legal structuring.

Constantin’s experience as external lenders’ counsel as well as in-house financial institution counsel allow him a deep understanding of the needs and regulatory requirements of his banking clients.

Constantin is a native German speaker, near-native English speaker, and also speaks advanced Spanish. He has traveled extensively and now lives in the U.S. He is licensed to practice in both the U.S. (Louisiana) and Germany. Not licensed in New York.
