Biography
Dora Duru is an associate in the Finance Transactions group. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency.
Dora received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School. During law school, she was awarded the Bennett Douglas Bell Memorial Award, given to the member of the senior law class who “embodies the highest conception of the ethics of the profession”. She was also awarded the Best Oralist Award for the Vanderbilt Law School Moot Court Competition. In addition, she was a fellow with Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE). Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial clerk to the Honourable Magdalena Reyes Bordeaux.
