Biography
Doug Lane represents clients across the entire spectrum of transactional real estate. Developers, investors, lenders, retailers, educational institutions, and professional sports teams are among the clients that count on Doug’s seasoned, commercial-focused advice when it comes to their most sophisticated and complex real estate transactions, including the acquisition, development, leasing and management of retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use properties. Doug also counsels both commercial landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing, including ground leases, mixed-use retail, restaurant, office, industrial and headquarter leasing throughout the United States.
Beyond his extensive experience across the range of transactional real estate, Doug also has a particular focus in the area of renewable power generation, guiding developers and energy companies through all aspects of their real estate matters in connection with the acquisition, construction, development, and financing of renewable power generation projects. Doug also regularly represents clients in the negotiation and preparation of sale-leasebacks, use and occupancy agreements, development agreements, CC&Rs, easements, and management agreements.
