New real estate partner strengthens BCLP in US and globally

International law firm BCLP announced the addition of Partner Doug Lane to the Real Estate Department. Doug will be resident in BCLP’s Los Angeles office.

Doug represents clients across the entire spectrum of transactional real estate. He advises developers, investors, lenders and property owners in the acquisition, development, leasing and management of retail, office, industrial and mixed-use projects. His leasing practice includes the representation of commercial landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing, including ground leasing, mixed-use retail, restaurant, office, industrial and headquarter leasing throughout the United States.

Clients include commercial and residential developers, investors, national and regional retailers, restaurants, building owners and a professional football league. Doug also has represented clients in the negotiation and preparation of sale-leasebacks, use and occupancy agreements, development agreements, CC&Rs, easements, and management agreements.

Doug also maintains a strong practice representing developers and energy companies in all aspects of real estate matters connected with the acquisition, construction, development and financing of renewable power generation projects.

He joins BCLP from the Los Angeles office of Perkins Coie.
