Biography

Eric Spose is a member of the firm’s Structured Finance practice group. His practice focuses on real estate finance, commercial mortgage servicing, and other commercial real estate transactions.

Prior to joining BCLP, Eric worked at another North Carolina law firm where he advised clients, including public and privately held REITs, in all stages and matters of acquisition, sale, and development of commercial real estate, with particular emphasis on tax-free 1031 exchanges.  

Eric earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.  While in law school, he served as an executive editor of the Wake Forest Law Review.  Eric has also worked as adjunct faculty and co-instructor of the Commercial Real Estate Transactions course at Wake Forest University School of Law.
