She has experience researching privacy and AI‑related compliance issues, including regulatory developments affecting automated decision‑making, data governance, and algorithmic accountability. Esthel has drafted various privacy policies and data processing agreements, and her matters regularly deal with the CCPA, GDPR and the growing landscape of US state privacy laws.

Her broader background includes handling franchise disputes and complex business matters. Prior to law school, Esthel interned at K‑Startup Law, APC, where she supported small startup owners from diverse cultural backgrounds in navigating legal challenges, particularly those arising from operating in a second language. A fluent Korean speaker, she brings a valuable multicultural perspective to her privacy and commercial work.
