Biography

Kevin Hooper is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has assisted clients in obtaining patents, trademarks and copyrights. Kevin’s practice concentrates on patent matters, with particular emphasis in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and chemistry. His practice includes client counseling, rendering patent validity, infringement and enforceability opinions, due diligence investigations, as well as appeals before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (PTAB).

Kevin’s undergraduate degree is in biology. His technical experience includes serving as research assistant at Stanford Medical Center from 1987-1989 and as laboratory manager at Harvard Medical School from 1989-1992 in the areas of molecular biology and biochemistry of extracellular matrix molecules.
