Biography

Madisen Hursey is a member of the firm’s Business & Commercial Disputes Practice Group.

During law school, Madisen was a member of the Barlit Center National Trial Team, competing in civil and criminal mock trial competitions across the country. Madisen also worked as a student attorney on high stakes impact litigation with the MacArthur Justice Center and Community Justice and Civil Rights Clinic at Northwestern Law. She also worked closely with the Center on Negotiation, Mediation, and Restorative Justice to assist formerly incarcerated students pursuing their bachelor’s degrees at Northwestern University reintegrate into their home communities and continue their studies.

Prior to joining the firm, Madisen was a summer associate in the Chicago office in 2023. During her third year as a law student, she worked as a teaching assistant for Constitutional Law and served as a mock trial team captain. She also worked on Freedom of Information Act litigation with the Center for Investigative Reporting, drafting complaints, appeals of denials, and conducting research on government transparency laws.
