Biography
Niya is a BCLP fellow in the St. Louis office and a member of the Class Actions and Mass Torts Practice Group. As a BCLP fellow, Niya provides pro bono legal services to re-entry participants who are involved in the Concordance Academy Program.
Niya earned her J.D. from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. During law school, Niya was involved various legal matters including the Civil Rights Clinic where she worked on a Title VII employment discrimination case as well as interning in the Federal Hearings Sector of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Washington Field Office.
Prior to law school, Niya received her B.A. in sociology from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.
