Biography

Othman Alshmry is Managing Partner of BCLP in Saudi Arabia. Othman has a broad Saudi practice and GCC experience, focusing on litigation, dispute resolution and arbitration.

Othman has represented many multinational clients – including the largest oil and gas company in the world – in construction, infrastructure, energy, real estate, joint ventures, labor, contracting, administrative and commercial sectors disputes, both in arbitration and litigation before the Board of Grievances, General Courts and various other judicial and quasi-judicial bodies in both Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Othman was a secondee at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs in Riyadh in 2007. He also regularly advises clients on non-contentious corporate and joint venture activities and other commercial matters.

He is fluent in both Arabic and English.
